Hello colleagues.

I know this might be out of scope but I'm sure someone here can help.
Seems there are a few members who got a 25 CB1000 Hornet. Being one of those, I would like to know if someone can help me getting the 2025 CB1000 Hornet service manual.
Apparently some members around have access to these manuals, as we have here these great books for the CB650.

TIA

Recent experience with my Honda CL500 indicates to me that the only source of service manuals is in the USA. The manual for that bike is available from a single source there. In the States it cost $50 plus shipping a year ago. For me to get one here in the UK it would have cost £50+£280 shipping! The States has the right to repair enshrined in law; that is why Honda is obliged to produce service manuals. Eventually one will be released in the wild for the Hornet but it will be US spec. I'll be interested ti see how you get on. Back in 2019 I bought a new Crossrunner - essentially a VFR800-based adventure bike. I never could get a service manual for that as the Crossrunner was never sold in the States. I used a VFR US spec manual for that. Honda really doesn't want home servicing, hence the six year warranty recently introduced with the stipulation that the bike has to be serviced by a Honda dealer. Helmic (Helminic?) is the US source of Honda manuals.

Thanks for the tip. Hornet 1000 is still not available in US 😟

It was a while before the CL500 manual became available. When it did stocks sold out quickly.
It seems pretty clear that Honda wants nobody except official Honda dealers to service their bikes - hence the extended warranty, which stipulates this. Other manufacturers are the same. One of the tenets of the EU regs is that emissions etc must be tamper-proof. The fact is that most riders of modern bikes here in the UK pay to have their bikes serviced anyway and that the majority are now in effect just rented via PCP deals. Just makes me want to stuff new bikes and go back to those that can be serviced and aren't decked out with unnecessary electronics. I usually just have the first service done then take the risk - never been bitten yet as a result. Euro V+ is further than I choose to go.
