Hey,

Lost my keys for my bike in which I have replaced the ECU and ignition switch. But unable to get the bike to start. HISS working correctly. Check engine light on. Bike stuck in natural and will not change into any gear. Just asking if I have to reset anything.

Existing ECU AU 38770-MKY-U11
New ECU EU 3877-MKY-D11

Thank

They all have to be programmed to work together. Has that been done?

Hey, haven’t programmed anything. Very new with bikes. The new ECU is programmed to that key. Any tools you recommend to programmed the ecu? Thanks

That’s what I was asking, was the ECU programmed to the keys. If it was, and everything else matches, it should work. However I think I have read on here that you need to tell the ECU the bikes VIN using Honda software. You may want to talk to a dealer.

Just an observation: the original ECU appears to be for the Australian market; the new one for EU markets. I wonder if a swap is as straightforward as it would be if swapped with like-for-like? Just curious.
