CB650R Hard seat on CB650R

As much a I find the bike amazing, the seat is not as great and is causing me a quite a bit of discomfort on longer rides. To much forward sloping and hard. Anyone here that can share experience on gel and / or memoryfoam modifications ? Or maybe reshape the seat. Looks like 5mm down on the rear and 5mm up on the front is doable.
Also, I want to keep the OEM look and cover.

i took mine to a custom upholstery shop local to me. they added a gel pack and a bit more foam. they were able to add about an inch of height (~25mm) to the stock seat for more leg room, and kept the original cover. it is more comfortable, but still gets uncomfortable on longer rides.
