Where do you buy the telferizer?
Is it just a universal "Honda" size for them?

I emailed them and said I wasn't sure of the size but I know you've sold them to other 650 owners. The guy emailed me back and gave me a price. So I ordered. Still don't know what size they are, but I think they are different between Honda models.
Telferizer have their own website so have a look at that.

Thanks. I looked at their site but didn't see any way to order. Might have to email them.

Mind sharing the price?

I'm pricing out a RAM stem mount system and wondering which double socket arm to get (short / medium / long). For those with a similar setup, which length did you chose? At this point, I'm guessing "short" for a lower profile and some wind protection from the windscreen.

My eyes can not focus well at short distances. Beyond 2 to 3 meters it's fine again.
So a mounted GPS would be pointless for me.
I can use a mobile phone in my pocket with ear-plugs connected, but perhaps you guys know other solutions for older folks like me?

I've been experimenting with a multi-focal, but I feel it messes too much with my vision on the bike.
It's quite different from sitting in a lazy armchair switching from a newspaper to the TV.

Good vision is the nr.1 safety item on a bike. Wouldn't want to impair that.
I'm quite happy stopping once and a while and look at my phone or an old-fashioned map (been riding motorbikes since 1969).

Love that song.
Yes, the first one was a Zundapp single cilinder 2-stroke, but moved to 4 stroke Honda's soon after that and much later when I could afford it BMW's.

I like the idea of having the phone in the pocket as well and the GPS piped through the earphones, but I don't have a decent pair of earphones that will cut out the wind like earplugs would. We've talked about it in this forum before -- moulded earpieces with bluetooth speakers -- but they were quite expensive and I've been keeping an eye out for bluetooth headphones that cut out the wind AND fit properly with a helmet on. Music on long trips wouldn't bad either.

I recently ordered Shure SE215-K-BT1 Wireless Sound Isolating Earphones from amazon. They’re made for musicians and are noise isolating. Good reviews from motorcyclists. I’ll post a review once I get them

I just installed my phone holder. It's an X-Lock type with a USB charging port. Instead of using the ball mount that comes with it and goes in the spot where mirrors would go on the handle bars, I purchased a Ball mount that goes into the steering tube.

I haven't done the wiring just yet as I'm going to get piggy back fuse holder so that I can wire it into a circuit that is only active when the ignition is on AND I don't have to splice into any wires. I intend on installing 7.5 amp fuses and not the 5's that come with it as 7.5 seems to be what the bike mainly uses.

Build quality seems good, but who knows how long the internal spring will last. Still its a lot cheaper than paying for the branded version from the states.
