CB650F Evotech radiator cover issues

Hi guys.

I have a CB650F 2018. Been slowly adding mods every week but ran into a issue with the radiator guard as the instructions are unclear.

I assume it is supposed to go in flush and maybe they didn’t realize there was that metal piece

My next step was either to use snips and make it fit flush in the slot. Or wait till Monday and contact them and return it.

Or maybe I’m totally wrong and it is supposed to be pushed out that far?

These are the instructions it came with. And they are for a CBR even though I click on the CB instructions.

Thecult, I have a different manufacture but it only sticks out about 1/4 inch. Ring them first it might
be the way it was made.

Ya. It looks a lot more flush when I’m watching install videos for other bikes.

I think I can make it fit with some cutting. But your prob right about ringing them first before I waste 120$

Thecult, That's alot of money for a rad.cover. It's not made out of gold is it? I put a r&g one on
my bike for less than 45usd.had it on 3 years now and fits just fine,plus no stones got in.

I have evotech rad duard 2015 cb different set up yo yours by the looks of it. My guard fitted perfect. Ring them they are very helpfull.

Run into a lot of issues with the 2018 model.
1. Very few company’s making mods yet.
2.shipping to Canada is a bitch for fees, or crazy wait times.

I’ll hit them up on Monday though and update you guys.

They would not like you cutting it.

It looks like they sent you the wrong one,and now that you cut it you might have to own it! In the
future if it doesn't fit send it back.

I haven’t cut it yet. And the one I received looks identical to the one on the website. I think they never tested it on 2018 models and assumed the 2017 would be the same perhaps.

I have looked at a few covers on the net and some say for only 2014 and 2015,and some say for all
cb/cbr650f. This is a real pain in the ass for you,so you are going to have to talk to the suppliers you
want to buy from before they send you one.The 2018 must be a different set up.Best of luck!!!

New reply from them. I’ll be returning it and try another brand. Happy with the response from them. And the product felt very quality. Wish it fit.

We contacted Honda regarding the fitment for the 2018 cb and cbr knowing they were naked and faired version.

I have removed the radiator guard from the website on you say so.

Please return the radiator guard for a full refund.
