HI
I am about to try a CB650R but before I do, I wondered what the thoughts of owners was regarding the rider size ?
I am 6ft1in and with 17 st (big bones!) and have had one of the old CB1000R's a few years ago so I just wondered if someone of my size would find it ok size wise ?
All the reviews say its a classy bike and it seems to perform and look really good but just wondered what the general thoughts were regarding big blokes on it !
I have been riding for over 50 years and this will be the smallest capacity bike I've had, just selling a 900 Tracer and already have a 1998 Blackbird so mainly used to big bikes but from what I've read the motor on this new bike is awsum, so is it ??!!

6ft1 is about 1m85 right?
Your flag indicates you're Dutch. If so, you're just about average for us Dutchies. I'm about the same size as you. No problems whatsoever.

Edit:
The flag just changed to a British flag. Your name makes more sense now ;) Anyway, same thing still goes, your length really shouldn't be an issue (even my 2m brother rode a CB650F without problems).

At 6'1" and 17st, you'll fit on the CB650R just fine, though it’ll feel more compact than your Tracer or Blackbird. The riding position is upright and comfortable for most, but taller riders might want to consider bar risers or rearsets for longer trips. The CB650R's inline-four engine is smooth, punchy, and surprisingly fun—especially in the midrange. It's a classy, well-balanced bike that handles brilliantly and has plenty of character. It may be smaller in capacity, but it doesn’t lack spirit. Definitely worth a test ride—you might be pleasantly surprised by how much fun it offers!

CB650R, I am 187cm 80kg. Raised the handlebar by 20mm and adjusted rear brake / gearshift pedals a bit. - No issues after those little modifications.

I think cb650r has more room than cb1000r or even the new 1000 hornet.
