Help please, went to start my bike this evening, noticed the daytime running lights were on even though there was no key in the bike but it was on a trickle charger. Unplugged the charger and they stayed on. Brake lights also activated when I pressed either lever, still no key inserted.
The bike then wouldn’t start, fuel pump wasn’t priming upon switching the ignition on, after a few attempts and flicking the kill switch on and off it eventually worked. Got it started and ran it up to temperature to check everything over, when I went to switch the bike off, the engine and lights just stayed on. (Only the screen turned off).
I removed the key and the bike was still running with the lights on! Used the kill switch to turn it off but this left the lights on (still no key). So I’ve removed the battery to stop it draining and stop any further issues!
Only dipped beam staying on lights go out if switch flicked to high beams.
All fuses and relays look good.
