Hello. I bought cb650r 2019 version and i love the bike. The bike has stock headers and cat. It has a aftermarket mid pipe and slip on attached to it. Here's how it looks:

This is a knock off slip on and i removed the db killer. Sounds good.
Im wondering if its necessary or desireable to flash the ecu and tune the fueling. There is a significant power dip around 6k rpm that annoys me actually, and i would not mind making throttle less jerky. All posts about ecu tuning or installing PC5 are about doing it with the full system, which i dont have. So question is... is it ok to tune the bike having a setup like mine if the goal is to get rid of the power dips and smoothing out throttle? Maybe get more power in the mid range.
I Also plan on blocking the pair valve tube and eventually removing the whole system.
Thank you
P.s.
Bike has a 10 liter tank, and the mileage is sort of low. I get 200 kilometers out of a fuel tank, and i wonder if i flash tune the ecu or install power commander to smooth out throttle, and fix the power dip, will it negatively affect mileage too?
