CB650R ECU tune/flash VS PC5

Hello. I bought cb650r 2019 version and i love the bike. The bike has stock headers and cat. It has a aftermarket mid pipe and slip on attached to it. Here's how it looks:

This is a knock off slip on and i removed the db killer. Sounds good.

Im wondering if its necessary or desireable to flash the ecu and tune the fueling. There is a significant power dip around 6k rpm that annoys me actually, and i would not mind making throttle less jerky. All posts about ecu tuning or installing PC5 are about doing it with the full system, which i dont have. So question is... is it ok to tune the bike having a setup like mine if the goal is to get rid of the power dips and smoothing out throttle? Maybe get more power in the mid range.

I Also plan on blocking the pair valve tube and eventually removing the whole system.

Thank you

P.s.
Bike has a 10 liter tank, and the mileage is sort of low. I get 200 kilometers out of a fuel tank, and i wonder if i flash tune the ecu or install power commander to smooth out throttle, and fix the power dip, will it negatively affect mileage too?

Sorry, I will add this as separate post just to make my questions clearer... if that helps.

Should I use this (if i decide to go the PC5 route) too? Does it work also if no PC5 or no ECU tuning done on the bike? I'm ordering the valve pair block kit, so want to order this as the same time if there's a reason to do so.

Thanks again.

Hi all. I'm planning to put in a HM short shifter and on the same time flash ECU or have a power commander 5 hooked up. Advice I actually have received is PC higher for fueling for street using motorcycles and ECU flash better for race riders.

Go down to post #8 for my response.
The drop you feel in the 6k range is in the torque and a PC 5 eliminates this dip completely. Do a search on "PAIR valve removal" to read all about that but for your 2019 there is a large diameter air hose running over the top of your air box. Quick and cheap way to block the PAIR valve system is to block this hose with a marble. Works perfectly and a marble is pretty cheap. The other way Is to remove the PAIR valve system and use the kit, also by Smartmoto linked in the post I linked above.
What I did:
Installed a PC 5 which eliminated the power drop off you mentioned
Installed the O2 sensor Eliminator kit because of the PC 5
Installed the PAIR valve eliminator kit with block off plates and eliminated any and all backfiring even at high revs, letting the engine drop off rev wise like engine braking and ALL popping disappeared.
K&N air filter
Full Akraphovic competition exhaust, off road only without the cat
Used laptop to "tune" the PC 5 to my mods.
Dropped one tooth off the front sprocket
I have done other mods but these listed above were to improve engine response and smoothness. Happy, recommend these to all 650 owners. Did NOT flash the chip.

And the fuel capacity on a 2019 650 is 15.4L
