Hello friends, couple questions I have

I noticed my chain adjusting bolts on each side are different lengths but the tick marks are equal on each side. is that normal?

The driver side adjusting bolt bolt is touching the the adjusting plate is that concerning or typical?
The passenger side has about 1/4 inch space between the end of the bold and the adjusting plate.

Ill post pictures sometime in the future. just thought I would get some insight.

Bike is a 2019 CB650R

thanks in advance

Hi, both the adjustment bolts should be in contact with the adjustment axle plate, sounds like you need to adjust them.

You need to ensure they're equal both side, there are multiple video's on YouTube demonstrating how to this.

The bolts should always be touching the plate! Unlock the one with the space and wind it out until it touches, then lock it again.

They're designed to stop the wheel moving in the event the axle nut gets lose. Having a gap removes this safety net.
