For honda we need a ISO9141 OBD is one of the standard OBD2 protocols, which can have one or two wires for powering up and initializing the scan tool and ECU communication using a keyword. Even though ISO9141 isn’t a fault code, if you see it on your scan tool, it means the ECU can’t connect to the scan tool.
