Hey all. My CB650R is almost complete, just waiting on the genuine quickshifter to come in (has been a huge pain to track down in the states especially with covid going on) to then fit my Sato racing rear sets. Couple other various touches coming as well.
With that being said the last big box to check is a fuel tuning solution. I can't seem to find solid information in this regard. It started out as no PCV because it can't change maps under 92% throttle but dynojet is working on a PV. Then recently DJ updated the PCV page for the 650F to be compatible with the R. Said page has no disclaimer about any 650R issues such as limited tuning capability relating to throttle position. However there is quite a few instances of people posting claims from dynojet reps about only above 40% throttle, only wide open throttle, 80% etc.. no straight answer, even supposedly straight from Dynojet.
I was thinking my only option for a while now was to wait for the power vision. Honestly who knows when that will be released at this point.
Then I found the Rapidbike Evo, and since I've never heard of them I wanted to see if anyone has first hand experience with that unit on their 650R. They certainly don't have the same market share and reputation as Dynojet. At $525 however I'd rather not guinea pig myself if a PV will eventually be an option.
If you have more info about the PCV as well, I'd love to hear it. Thanks!
