All 650's cb650r on cb650f indicators

will the cb650r led oem indicators from 2022 fit my 2016 cb650f?

If yes what part do I need to make by my self?

The R has a special LED capable turn signal relay and the F does not have that. So if you’re going to run R signals you’ll need to run both front and rear, and get the OEM relay (a normal LED one will not work).

Easiest to go all aftermarket.

I put 12 O’clock Labs on my Tracer and while I’m not normally a fan of aftermarket signals I love them and can highly recommend.

The OEM LEDs are a weird resistance and won’t function with a normal LED relay or the OEM incandescent relay; you’ll need that OEM one for it to work.

Good to hear.

We had several people try it early on and without the OEM LED relay it did not work for them. We all surmised that the LED lights Honda used were an “off” resistance.

We’ll alter our advice next time this comes up.

I just installed a generic branded Honda 4-pin LED relay (Aliexpress) to resolve the rapid blinking aftermarket LED's that came installed on my bike when I purchsed it. I can understand why amateurs don't bother replacing the relay, as it was a bit of a bastard of a job. Unclipping the fairings and lifting the tank is annoying enough as it is, but getting that plastic cover up and then back down while working in under the tank really got me swearing.

Decided that while I was in there I'd install the PAIR blockoff plates, and then decided that while I was doing the PAIR I might as well replace the spark plugs since the bike has just passed 24k. Productive weekend at least.
