According to the Haynes manual, to refill the coolant on the CB650F the bleed plug on the side of the radiator is removed.
However, on the CB650R, it says to remove the plug from the bleed pipe on top of the radiator. I can’t find a pipe, and can’t see it on the schematics either. Can anyone tell me where it’s located please ?B895A28A-E1CB-4F62-BFE0-1D5052B910C0.jpeg

Looks like another Haynes book of lies. I don't know what bike that picture is meant to be of, but it is not cb650f!

I'd recommend a trip to the resources section here so you can grab the oem service manual from Honda, which will be accurate.

It’s supposed to be a 650R, that’s the point, it says the R has a pipe and the F doesn’t. Looks accurate to me, but can’t see a pipe, and yes I agree, I know how unreliable Haynes manuals can be.

We have the 650r manual on here... Looking at my paper copy, check out page 8-5, it shows what you're after in situ.

Thanks, now I’ve just got to work out how to find the manual. 😂👍🏻

So I’ve eventually found the bleed hose and plug, situated under the right side air intake. It attaches to the back of the head. Just waiting for my new water pump O ring to arrive and I’m set. Hopefully I’ll cure the oil leak from the water pump.

Precisely that! ;-)
Pls tell me: the cable on the image, attached to the bleed hose, is to pass below or above the intake tube?
I mean the electrical cable, NOT the hose going to the expasion tank.
Honda dealer replaced my infamous water pump and after the procedure, this cable came loose.
I managed to make it pass under the intake tube, but not sure if this is right.

TIA
