I'm using Rizoma ones for my CB650R. They're nice looking but I doubt they'll be much protection in the end.

I prefer Motostarz (in Richmond) over Bayside. Way more helpful and good prices. Also willing to negotiate a little. My experience with Bayside has been quite negative. Poor attitude and poor customer service.

I've found gb racing sliders at Bayside performance, $333 for a full set of 3, but no frame sliders.

I also prefer to order motorcycle parts from Motostarz and I have been using them for years. I find they have the best prices and if it's not on their website, you can just contact them directly and they can usually order the parts you're looking for and ship them right to you - did that with a Puig brake reservoir cover on my new bike.

Wondering what octane you guys are using? Manual says 86 but dealer suggested 91, I'd like to save 20 cents a litre if I can. Only fueled up twice so far, but will probably try 87 next time.

Yeah manual and dealer said to use 87 - regular and engine is designed for it.

I throw money away using Chevron 94. No ethenol in it for peace of mind but it is a newer bike so ethenol shouldn't be a problem.

I agree, I use 91 Shell (no ethanol) in the winter. I ride through the winter here in BC so I prefer zero ethanol since the riding isn't daily. In the warmer months I'll use 87 or 89. No point other than no ethanol to use high octane in this bike. The compression ratio is not high enough to warrant it, and the ignition timing is not advanced enough to make use of high octane.
