What do you think of it?

100 hp / "high" torque (no data for now ) / twin / 169kg dry / sporty but not hypersporty / unknown price tag

As a CBR650R owner, this one looks like a more polished version: fewer compromise, really lightweight, not too sporty, doesn't look like a naked bike with fairing.

Yup, lots of chatter on this one, including it being a “sensible” sporty bike along the lines of the 650R or Supersport.

Very interested in it, especially if they can make it comfy and get the fuel economy up which are the two real drawbacks to the RSV stuff.

I'm very interested. A bit more power and torque than my 650, but in a package that weighs 50-60 lbs less, has better hardware, and looks stellar. I thought it might be more of a hardcore race replica, but the clip-ons have risers like the Ducati Supersport, so I'm thinking the ergos might even be slightly nicer than my 650R. I'm definitely keeping my eye on it as a future upgrade.

I'm actually more excited by this bike than the new Fireblade.

Very nice looking and interesting bike. But I think it's gonna be way more expensive than the CB650R. And has a two cylinder engine. I rather have a three or four cylinder bike. But you can't argue taste as we say in The Netherlands... 😁

It's absolutely gorgeous. I hope they have the balls to release it in this very color scheme.
I wonder what the price tag will be.

edit:
looks like this is indeed one of the two available color schemes (the other being black)

I think it will be around 11k€. It will be naturally pricier than the CBR650R but it can't be more expensive than the Ducati 939 SS IMHO.

You're being optimistic.
The Ducati Supersport is €15500 over here (over 17k for the S version). An r6 will set you back 16000 euros. Something more affordable is a Kawasaki ZX6R for a little over 12 grand, but even a Triumph Street Triple R will set you back 12000 euros (almost 14 for the R version). Considering Aprilia as a brand and the pricings I mentioned before, I expect this bike to be more in the direction of 15k.

edit:
of course different markets have different prices (varying taxes and everything) and my country is kind of expensive when it comes to vehicles, so it might be significantly less than 15 grand in other countires, but I think 11k is too optimistic.

Maybe maybe, we will see :) It depends if they want to compete with the CBR650R / SS style or 600-700cc supersport bikes.

R6 and SS cost ~13.5k€ in France
CBR600RR costs 11k$ in the US

Black looks great! Are the front indicators combined in the headlight? That’d be pretty dope.
