Anyone using an Android phone navigation app?

I'm using Waze having used Google maps in the past. Problem is, you can't set a route to ride from A to B riding through choosen places.

Google maps has stops but that's no good as you have to stop the bike as you get to each place, and select the next place on your route

Anyone recommend an app please?

The route builder has a free option I think... The navigation app is subscription however I think they have a lifetime one off price.

I helped back in the beta days testing it, so I don't pay as a thank you.

I had the same problem when I went to Spain I needed to set a route but Waze and google were bad. Dident know about the app above.

I ended up "creating a map" in google you can overlay a route there. The problem is the route is just a visual layer overplayed the map and doesn't give you turn by turn directions. So my workaround was to save a route in google for 400-600km whatever I planned for the day making sure to drop the pins in towns or areas to stop so ever time I stopped I'd put in the next way point manually in google or waze. Bit of a faff but it worked well for me. I used it to zig zag across the pyrenees from west to east seeing all the places of interest.

It was ok for me as I had planned to stop frequently for short breaks to take in sights and stretch the legs a bit but if you are planning a full day of riding non stop using this method I would have saved my route adding waypoints in petrol stations every 200 - 230km

One benefit from using waze/google is they show fixed cameras 😁

Thank you for your post.

I figured out in google maps on a trip w multiple stops, before you get to a stop you can press the X button in the bottom left corner and it will pop-up an option asking to cancel the trip or just the next stop. Click 'cancel the next stop' and it will re-route. I usually press the X a min or two before I get to the next stop.
