Hi, I want to put a quickshifter on my bike and I have received an excessive quote at the dealership for 670 dollars including the installation.
After you received this price, I looked for cheaper options and saw that there is the same product on AliExpress for 100 dollars.

Item in question = https://shorturl.at/szJOS

Is there anyone here who has tried and knows if the product is good and safe?

I realize I am bringing this up from the depths but since you got no reply I'll chime in. I have it installed, mine was marked with the OEM part number and logo but from other printing in the package, I'm fairly certain it's counterfeit. Than said, it works as it should 95% of the time. It occasionally will fail to signal an engine delay on a specific gear for the shift but other gears still work flawless. When this does occur, it seems to remedy when the bike has been shut off and turned back on. I can't say how it compares to a genuine OEM part as I haven't had one but I also feel the engine delay which allows the gear change is a little lengthy, I feel like my manual (with clutch) change is a little more speedy. All of that said, I like the experience very much and it is fun, I'm a street rider, not a racer. If I needed 100% no-flaw reliability and the absolute fastest shift possible I would go with a tunable aftermarket model. For most of us this seems like a good unit though.
