How did you get the quiet core out the first time? I tried everything and it will not budge. (And yes I removed the set screw) I have the akra with the single outlet baffle but otherwise I beleive it's the same system.

Remove the muffler off the bike, stick a bar through the other end, contact the baffle. Hit it with w hammer 5 times and it will push it out. This was much easier than pulling it out.

Wood may be absorbing the impact a little too much. Here is an example of what I used, with a metal hammer. It moved about 1-2mm per hit, but then eventually popped out.

The Akrapovic S-H6R12-HAFT is not EURO 4 compliant. The E-Mark counts only for EURO 3 Bikes like my old CB 650F (2014-16).
Thats why Akrapovic has developed a new EURO 4 compliant Exhaust called S-H6R14-HEGEHT.
This has E-Marks an is legal with an installed Catalytic Converter (P-KAT-063/1)

Yeah, although you'd be damn unlucky to get caught.

I used another method that doesn't involve removing the end can at all.

Stick M8 stud rods down the baffle with connecting nuts and gently pull it out using a tapping motion. The nuts will connect to the backside of the baffle. Do this in each baffle hole a few times and voila! At least, it worked for me. Got it out in about 25 seconds.

These are the 3 options for the CB650F on Akra website, I'm assuming only difference between the three are: (1) Carbon endcap (2) Quad baffle (3) Single baffle?

As for the CB650R, Akra lists S-H6R11-AFT as compatible, but assuming the above assumptions are valid, then shouldn't all three fit the bike?

There's currently no pictures/stats on the S-H6R14-HEGEHT so remains to see what that actually is.

Anything listed as ec marked for the 2018 bikes will have to be euro4 compliant as the 2017 refresh was made to be euro4.

I suspect the new model is needed to be correctly type approved in Germany etc. As the 650r isn't the 650f.

Arrow also makes a full system (one EC, one that isn't) with a wide choice of end cans, although so far I've been having a hard time finding a distributor.

SC Project would be sweet too, since they work directly with Honda in MotoGP, but doesn't seem like they have anything out for the new bikes yet :banghead:
