Seriously mate, electric bikes like the Zero SR/F are brilliant pieces of kit. Anyone not taking electric bikes seriously is doing themselves a disfavor. Sure, there's the question of range, but that will become less of an issue as batteries get more powerful, electric engines become more efficient and charging infrastructure becomes more widespread.

Also, this year marks the inaugural year of the MotoE championship. An electric motorcycle world championship that runs together with the MotoGP. They had a test at Valencia last week and first race will be in Germany in 4 weeks. It has old MotoGP riders like Bradley Smith, Xavier Simeon and even Sete Gibernau, as well as some old Moto2/Moto3 talent like Maria Herrera.

Why is this important? Because it's racing taken seriously and will drive the development of better, stronger and more efficient electric motorcycles. Those developments will trickle down into the consumer market.

By the time it's 2030, you'll have a Ducati Panigale E to ride, believe me :)

That is interesting.
I would just need this removed:
"The SR/F is connected through cellular networks, transmitting info to the app at all times. Ride information, current bike status and location are always available. This connectivity gives the rider the ability to monitor the bike in four (4) main areas: Bike Status & Alerts, Charging, Ride Data Sharing, System Upgrades and Updates."

Yeah, but that's just for "New" vehicles.

Wait a tic.....

"In addition to banning the sale of new fossil fuel cars, the government said it would stop granting National Car Test (NCT) certificates to such vehicles by 2045."

Ok, fair point, but what's to say there won't be somebody in charge like Donald Trump who will just roll back all the new regulations?
Could happen.....

Not trying to stir up a pot, just pointing out that 2045 is still a few years away.
