2024 CB/CBR650R US Availability

Howdy folks,

The 2024 CB/CBR650R was finally announced to hit the US Market last week.

Like many, I too have been watching out for this almost a year and have put in a deposit on a CBR650R.

Now, the thumb twiddling starts for the bike to show up at the dealership. I'm planning to pick one up from Houston.

Thought will get this thread started to catch up on how it progresses across other places in the US.

good luck. would like to try one with e-clutch. wish the US was getting that green color though!

An update on this. Test Bikes have reached US and Honda did a camp in Georgia earlier this week with a few youtubers and moto journalists taking the bikes for a spin.

On the dealership front, the bikes are likely to start showing up from mid September. I'll update the thread once I get mine (hopefully soon).

Hello All,

I'm delighted to inform that the wait is finally over for me and I picked up the CBR650R eClutch today. Here's a pic!

Picked mine up today (Northern VA). Dealership got one on Thursday, and I happened to call asking if they had any. They had no idea they were going to get one.
Another issue is no bluetooth/Road sync like Europe. Hope we get an update once Road Sync is released.

Also, there’s no underseat USB charger. On the bright side, the US bikes have just 1 lambda sensor thereby allowing use of prior version of Akra (S-H6R11-AFT) without the hassle of CEL lighting up.
