General Info
I searched for months for a cbr650r bc this was my dream bike but was told by everyone it was sold out and un-orderable, however after giving up I came across an ad for one in January of 2024 and I went immediately to buy it. I think it's a gorgeous bike and I love the styling, but I get looks and compliments everywhere I go about the color.
Style & Safety Mods
So there's the obvious. I tore the bike down to nothing with 100 miles and added some custom fairings, as well as some T-Rex frame sliders which I love. Smoked windscreen integrated taillight, smaller front turn signals, insta360 power pole I leave attached, and my favorite, front and rear dash cams that turn on with the ignition with android auto for GPS and music. I also added a bunch of small mods and I'm absolutely in love with this bike.
Performance / Handling Mods
Only real performance mods I've added is a quick shifter which I will say is great, didn't think I would get it but got it for a good deal and love it.
Luggage / Convenience Mods
I added a atlas throttle lock however it doesn't really hold the throttle for more than a few seconds without slipping so I will try another option.
Plans / Wishlist
My only plans for the bike in the future are an akropovic exhaust at some point with a tune, add a luggage rack on the back to try some road trips, and mayyyybe a crash cage if I find a nicer one I like but don't like the current market.
