2020. Removed factory graphics.

Style & Safety Mods

Did a custom tail tidy. Bought some steel and cut a couple brackets then trimmed up the stock tag holder and reused it. Added some tabs to the sides for the signals. I didn't put the tag light back on, I don't ride at night.

Removed the rear foot pegs, the wife isn't interested in riding along.

Removed all the reflectors as, again, I don't ride at night and I think they're ugly.

Removed factory graphics.

Cleared out stock muffler.

Plans / Wishlist

I want a rear seat cover.

Congrats on the bike! I picked mine up about a month ago and have already pounded 1800km on it. I sold a Harley and just can’t get enough of the CBR. It’s a perfect sport bike for the road, enough power to have fun but comfortable enough to enjoy the end of the ride.

Congrats on the new ride! 👍 on the custom tail tidy, that recessed look is great. Also totally agree that removing the graphics was the right move, gives it a more elegant look and less of a "boy racer". Kind of gives off a Ducati Panigale V2 vibe, which IMHO, is a good thing.

Looks really nice with graphics removed! Agree with LB2020 @LB2020 that it looks more like a Ducati and quite retro (good thing!). How did you remove the stock muffler and can you post a sound clip?

I’ve got the same bike and also removed rear pegs - planning to replace OE bolts with some black round head ones. Also bought a seat cowl and would highly recommend. It would finish yours off beautifully!

Lastly, I’d also recommend the quickshifter, if you haven’t done it already! 😉

My cousin and I cut open the muffler and removed the baffling.
