General Info

Being on this forum for a while, I just thought to showcase her anyway even if most of the people must have stumped across a picture already.
A lot of help and tips were gathered thanks to this forum, I'm glad to be part of the family.

Beautiful Bike! Whats your opinion on the G2 Throttle Tamer does it work as advertised and how was the install?

Thank you
The Throttle Tamer didn’t make a big difference, I’m still wondering if they’ve sent me the right tube 🤣
Installation was super easy, loose the cable adjustments and remove the cable ends from the OEM, Slide in the tamer.

Great pictures and it really is a gorgeous looking bike. How's the exhaust now MrFritz86 @MrFritz86? Did it stop leaking in the end?

Thank you Rafe @Rafe , she really turned out amazingly well 😅
Unfortunately still leaking, I guess I just have to live with it, and to live with a poorly modified exhaust.
This is my first and last exhaust from SC Project.

Awesome bike. Does the frame slider prevent any part of the engine to touch the ground or is an engine guard required?

Fame sliders help but it is better to have the engine guards, to bottom side will touch the ground anyways. The guards help to prevent too much load on the sliders in my opinion. But if you are planning on getting the sliders, look for 2 mounting points on the chassis.

Do you have a pic from the front with the 1000 headlight rim? Curious how different it looks.

nice bike! the rear R&G spools, hard to see where they are bolted into... which one did you use and have you secured them onto the swing arm?

Do you have the part number of the headlight rim? is it a direct fit to the CB650R?
Thx

Yes it’s a direct fit, or at least it was for my 2019 model
Not sure if anything has been changed on later 650r models

Hey! I'm late to the party but amazing looking bike :)

In case you are still around, do you have any idea where to find a similar mudguard? Searching for the Leon Esatto doesn't bring too many websites :(

the website where I bought it from is not available anymore

try to get in touch with Leon group or Takumi on Facebook, I was in touch with them for other parts

works as well as the CB1000R that has one from the factory or the OEM hanger thing our 650's come with. a bit of dirt will come up but most of it is stopped by the guard and the undertail piece.

Ive been riding with it in Irish winter weather without issues, performance is about the same as OEM in terms of dirt stoppage. now, I do have a mud guard extender from Pyramid and a small luggage rack which may also help.
