Nice. Which bar end mirrors did you go with? Any special considerations when installing?
Initially, I removed the inner bar weights and had mirrors with the standard expanding sleeve for mounting. Ended up not liking the increased vibrations in the bars (albeit not considerably more but noticeable enough). I re-installed the weights and had to get creative to fit the mirrors.

Ended up finding the below site somewhere because I bent the snap rings that hold the weights in the bars when I removed them.

Purchased the below parts (pieced this plan together from another thread on this site):

- Had to drill a larger hole in these to accept the stock honda bar end bolt that went through the stock bar end weights

- These are needed to sit flush against the ends of the inner bar weights.
- I know you can buy these elsewhere, but if I remember correctly they wouldn't allow shipment to the US from the manufacturer website.

The mirrors are CRG Hindsight Lanesplitters, but with my setup you can run any similar mounting style mirror.

The only issue I ran into is that the way the inner weights are designed, the snap rings allow the weights to spin 360 degrees with no way (that I've come up with) to keep them stationary. That was causing my mirrors to move positions at speed. By tilting the mirror arms straight forward, they do not move at any speeds.

Cool! Looks great - where did you buy the black intake covers?

Best,

Theodor
Appreciate it! Those are the stock covers -- just roughed em up with sand paper, taped over the CB650R stickers, and rattle canned them flat black.

Hey that's the Akra S-H6R11-AFT right? There's another lad here who got that pipe and apparently his exhaust port sleeves came 10mm short. Just curious if you had any issues when installing?

I saw that post and luckily I did not have that issue. All the parts seemed to fit exactly as they should. Put about 100 miles on the bike since then so far no issues.

That huge underbelly exhaust opening really does compliment the overall look, I'm 100% sold after seeing your bike hahaha

Btw how long did you have to wait after ordering yours? Was it stocked by Revzilla or made to order from EU?

I agree, I think Akra has done the best job retaining the factory lines and overall look. Not to mention it sounds mean as hell 🤘

RevZilla got it to me within a few days. I just looked this morning for another thread and that exact model number is OOS at the moment (Titanium/Single Outlet). If you end up getting this one, look for EnglishBikerDan thread on removing the baffle, I put a comment for a different way for the single outlet as his was for the quad.

Good luck!
