All 650's PAIR VALVE REMOVAL (improved version)

The difference!! As A certified A&P mechanic that has built experimental aircraft from scratch,i might know the difference! Trying to give people other options who may not have a JIS screw driver handy. Dont make your website into a snotty nose snob site! How unpleasant and ungrateful you are...

All 650's PAIR VALVE REMOVAL (improved version)

Hay guys, first I would like to thank every one that contributed to the pair removal post. It allowed me to get the job done without much trouble. I chose to remove everything I could and put the plates on. For the Philips screws that folks are stripping, I used a hand impact and had no issues...

    All 650's Tyre comparison.

The pirelli angel is an excellent tire! The only reason you would need more traction is if you were competing on track. The pirelli Ross'os wear way to fast!

    Give Me Your Opinion

I've had a lot of bikes. The CB650R is an excellent bike! Maybe not great for 2 up riding, but other than that and a less than stellar dash(who needs one any way) its very good!

    On the side line

I have owned recent round badge hondas( the ones from japan) a valkyrie and a vfr1200f. These are Hondas flagship along with other round badge bikes. The paint is fragile on all of them! This is due to a switch to environmental friendly paint. I find the fit and finish on my 2019 CB650R to be as...

    All 650's Expected tyre life

Been having great luck with pirreli angel duel compound tires. Rated best rain tire for sports touring. Soft on the edges and long lasting harder compound in center of tire. I like the handling a bit more than the michellin 5.....which is also a very good dual compound tire.

    CBR650F Valve Check

Not sure about the cb650r , but owning 2 other recent hondas (2010vfr 1200 and 2014 valkyrie) i checked clearance on both bikes at about 25 k miles and both were in spec. Talked to a honda mechanic that told me he rarely sees honda valve clearance out of spec. And yes, its fairly easy to check...

    Camping?

I love doing long motorcycle camping trips! I have done more than i can count at this point. I prefer doing this in the western states as weather and scenery, crowds ect seem better. We do some planning ahead as to the spots to camp and always hit a grocery store before camping. I have done...

    Other bike suggestions

I have the 650 for the mountains and around town. I also have a 2014 honda valkyrie 1800 that I do long camping tours on. The Valkyrie is an excellent all arounder believe it or not. Very easy to ride, but tons of torque is needed. Its also very good in the curves for a big bike. These bikes...
