Looks like I found something to replace the CB1000R with.
After arguing with myself over what makes sense and what not I just decided to throw that all out of the window and buy the bike I really desired for quite a while now.
What can I say. No regrets so far.
My guess was right. Inline 3s are...
So today Ducati released some pictures and information about the new Streetfighter V4 (Something I eagerly anticipated since the release of the oh-so-gorgeous V4).
And what should I say? I look at it with one sad and one happy eye.
Sad, because reading the text it sais the most powerfull...
With this one I don´t find the words for a more detailled report.
Just the summary:
- it´s loud
- it´s mental
- it´s way to fast/powerfull
- it consumes way to much fuel
- it´s too expensive
- the Tuono isn´t really a naked bike - it´s a retuned RSV4 with more displacement, wide handlebar...
Last Saturday most dealers around here had their annual 'Start of the Season event'. This event is usally conncected with loads of people, food and free testrides on large parts of the current lineup.
So I used my chance to look at 3 different models. First review is about the Hypermotard 950...
Today something I wished to do for quite a while happened. I got to test ride a Fireblade.
It´s a 2018 standard version, matte black, sadly no quick shifter.
Again
First my short summary if you don´t want to read all of my crap:
+ fast
+ good looking
+ very light
+ sounds great

I just randomly stumbled across some pictures online. All were called something like 2019 CB(R)650F. I didn´t understand what the texts/videos were saying.
Ended up looking for the Brazilian homepage out of curiosity.
I don´t know if it´s offered like that anywhere else but come on, I demand...
It seems like my prediction came true. With the "new-ish" licence regulations here in Germany (not able to restrict a bike with over 96hp for the A2 licence any more) the CB650F got more attention.
With that new "rule" coming into effect since beginning last year and the facelift of the 650s the...
Dear experts,
I have another question. I looked for a Crankshaft case crash pad/slider.
I asked for mounting information for this:
It said I have to unscrew that big bolt, put the pad onto the case and put the bolt back in and torque it up.
Now my concern due to missing knowledge (already...
It was my long time wish to see myself on the bike (650 days).
And one day in summer I met someone I know while riding around on my favourite part of road.
I saw the guy taking pictures of one of his friend while that guy was riding.
I went up to him and asked if it´s possible for him to take a...
Another day, another review.
This time it´s a polish/cleaner.
Autosol "Anti Blau" which translates to "Anti blue".
It´s a polish to remove either blue or brown discolouration of your exhaust (manifold).
The CB had serious brown discolouration despite the low mileage. Finally found the time today...
Better late than never.....Santa finally found my house.
Will now tell my first impressions
Will update this thread once it´s spring and I can finally test it on the move and compare it to the Shoei Qwest I currently own and which I used until now.
- It seems well made, exterior and interior...
Another day, another "problem".
Like I already said I ordered a new set of grips.
This time some black ones with also a very small part of aluminium at the sides but with more and higher quality rubber.
So these ones should have more vibration damping capabilities and they should not wear that...
Another day, another part delivery.
This time bar ends and mirrors from Barracuda. I write this in this forum section as they also fit the CB650. (And the CBR650 for the bar ends).
First impressions: Quality is not bad. Mirrors are completely out of aluminium without any plastic parts...
Great! I got a new bike now with all the mods I wanted. What could possibly go wrong?
1. Oh yes, a brand new bar end mirror falling off after 7km. Awesome!
Thankfully I realized shortly after the loss that the mirror fell off. Turn around and search!
Found it! It landed in the grass on the side...
Well hello there 650F.bike members.
May I introduce you to the successor of my CBR650F?
It is a 2012 Honda CB1000R with only a bit less than 5000km.
It had 1 pre - owner. He bought it 5 years ago but wasn´t really able to ride it because of problems with his back. So then he decided it´s time to...
My time with the CBR650 is over. Yesterday I brought the bike away.
This is the oldest picture I got. 25.09.2015 - one day after I bought it.
These are the last pictures I got. 10.11.2017
In total I covered a bit less than 20.000km with it. Luckily without any issue.
(Let´s forget the...
I might have to transport the bike on a trailer for quite a distance (600km/372 miles one way).
I wonder if some of you did that already. I know someone who will lend me a bike trailer. So I got the ramp and the front wheel paddock stand. Also I will use my brake locker.
Now to the question...
So yeah, I walked in to "my dealer" and saw they had a 2012 CB1000R there with only 5.000 km.
I was really happy because I already had the intention to test one.
And damn - I fell in love with a Honda - again.....
- Honda CB1000R -
A naked bike with around 220kg (485lbs), equipped with the old...
Hey guys,
As some of you might be aware I am currently in some kind of "difficult relationship" with my bike.
Won´t really stress that our here as I already made a post about it - and oh boy - seems like I opened a bigger barrel than intended. That´s why I´ll test-ride some bikes in the future...
Well hello there guys,
I start to get some kind of strange feeling towards my bike. It´s hard to explain.
The more distance I covered with it the more dissatisfied I am.
I like my bike and I think it´s a good allrounder. But maybe that´s the problem.
It´s not really bad at anything. But not...
