    Curious guys, how do you all store your bikes year round, as in Garage/shed/out in the open... Heaters/none etc. Reason I ask is I plan to move house next few years and always wanted a big Garden to build a workshop/garage and in next compartment small office/man cave area and of course fridge...

    Cheers mate, honestly it's alot less hassle to pay someone be it bike stuff or Garden/home stuff....I'm just that way I drive my missus up the wall saying "I'll try that" lol! YouTube and likes of this Forum these days are so so handy. Just feel alot of tradesman who do the job day in day out...

    I did at the time know I was cranking them. Checked every half turn but I just had a different image in my head that they would be flared different. Live and learn. Keep my eye on it tho definitely! It's a handy forum this, tonne of info so far from it so much appreciated Gents

    Cheers mate, appreciate the input. I was a bit suspect lastnight when fitting but the chain rollers are smooth and turning and the whole chain looks exactly the same as the link. It's just the rivets I didn't think looked right. I'll take it to the MOT station that way I'll have a ride and see...

    Hi all, riveted my chain tonight for first time, simple enough and I used Vernier calipers aswell to get the links to same size (as accurate as I could).     Possible silly question

    Cheers mate, I park my bike under shelter at my work but I work on boats and it's near the salt water...I keep a cover on it to minimize the salt air, should keep bulk of it off but not a whole lot I can do about it
