Well that's a shame about your accident mate, but l guess things happen for a reason and now you get to switch it up a little for your bike scene. Hopefully you weren't hurt too bad and fully recovered by now. I actually upgraded to an R6 2021 and had it for about a month now, was meaning to get...
Did you end up doing the mod? I only actually got my bike back 2 weeks ago and considering selling her and switching so l was thinking of giving up on ruining a 480$ set of mirrors
The USBC accessory only comes standard with EU bikes which l already know. I was just curious if you knew the part or could maybe please ask your local dealer what the part number could be??
I have been meaning to do the pair valve mod but honestly l can’t be bothered to have a go at it, plus my bike has a nice burble and pop on deceleration so l kinda prefer it. But l would love to see a more in-depth guide to the breather valve mod so that maybe others and even myself could do it...
I have only been impressed a number of times when it comes to all the 650 topics and chats but this right here blew my mind. Over in AUS the max most people get is 85-90HP and the fact you and your tuner managed to pull out 34% boost from stock and you added a breather filter to the valve cover...
Sadly not mate, l thought a large spacer like that may help too but in the end it just looks too bulky and out of place with the gorgeous lines of the bike and ruins the whole aesthetic of having a nice integrated mirror and turn signal. My bikes having some parts switched so l will drill out...
Sad issue about the Rizoma one is that they are pretty proprietary, meaning they won't really work on the stock handlebar very nicely. Mainly people like to switch to a Rizoma drag bar or tapered bar and then install the bar end/mirror on that since it flows much nicer. But personally l think a...
Honestly once you start forgetting about being afraid of dropping the bike and more on the fact of sliding when passing your abilities either on track or wherever you fancy doing the speedy lifestyle, that's when a frame slider and l emphasis SLIDER comes into play. You dont want to lose your...
Looks amazing honestly. Person ally not a fan of the grey since it is a bit too light in colour and if it was an Audi nardo grey with some metallic it would be great. However without all the decals and the seat cowl, it really ties the look together. You should consider joining the Honda650 AU...
Just look for resellers within America which l am sure there should be more than 1 unlike us here in Australia for a pair. I have them on my bike and they are amazing and reduce the vibrations immensely!
Just as good ol @miweber929 stated they are technically designed for the slide. Hence the name sliders or aero sliders, not really made for the direct impact with the ground but the slide on the racetrack. I kept them purely for my track riding sessions but as l daily the 650 it becomes more and...
Well ain't this a bitch... my bike has its R&G slider there! However l have been pushing that knowledge of a slider warping the frame and damaging the mount on the 650R since its launch. I had a red 650R probably a week after it was launched into Australia and on the 3rd week of owning it an...
Even getting it wrapped won't work. The removal of the stickers leave an indent and will show through on a wrap. Only option is to repaint really or just to get over it and leave the OEM decals.
Do not remove tank decals on any year 650F or R. They are under the clear coat for the tank paint and will result in you not only ruining the look but having to look for a whole new tank or respray to fix the issue.
My friend @Chen Wetta has installed it on his CB650R and honestly it looks great. IMO I don't fancy the sound as much but it does still sound great and moves away from the ever so popular Akra. I will have him write something up about the install and thoughts on the exhaust since he's had it for...
