In CBR650R, I observed a slightly higher torque at low RPMs. However, it is not a significant difference.
With regards to launching, some individuals may find certain bikes easier to handle than others, while others may experience the opposite. Ultimately, it is a matter of experience and...
In California, 14k miles is a low mileage for this bike. I also got mine as my first bike and I put 33k miles.
Also check the regular maintenance schedule. 16k mi is the next service. You will be inspecting spark plugs according to the manual at 16k mi though I don't think you have to. Other...
Just installed 1" rise woodcraft.
There is a slight interference at the full lock.
Even at the interference, controls are still untouched, but my asv short clutch lever pivot point is touching the front fairing.
Either that or my hand gets pinched.
Ergonomic wise, its a very aggressive jump...
Has anyone tried the woodcraft 1" rise?
I have seen people manage to make enough clearance for 0" rise (Vortex).
I'm not sure if that's easy to achieve with the woodcraft.
I did remove it including the air duct in the side fairings. Otherwise, plugs aren't even visible of course.
Still, it's very tight to reach. My hands were barely able to grab the cap from the side.
After trial and error, I realized I need a much shorter arm on the socket. And, your setup and...
I have read the service manual. The service manual doesn't really say much. I also have the haynes one.
It's just one line: remove the spark plugs. they don't tell how to remove or what tools to use :(
It's more like I don't have right tools. I was only able to remove the rightmost one.
I...
I couldn't reach the two middle spark plugs.
The two ends are barely reachable from the air ducts. But, no angle for the middle two.
Should I also remove the radiator?
Any tool recommendations?
This is what I have:

My throttle is making squeak noise. So I wanted to lube the cables. I opened the kill switch housing and there is inner housing for the cables.
But, I can't completely remove the inner housing although I unscrewed the two screws. It feels it's completely attached to the plastic tube.

Sorry to hear that.
Do other frame sliders like evotech not need spacers?
I have the t rex sliders as well, but mine is CBR650R. Fortunately I have had only positive experiences with them.
Hope everything goes well.
Sorry for necroing the thread. How do you like the crash cage so far?
I've been looking to convert my bike to a stunt bike. But, unfortunately, R-gaza is the only company that produce crash cages for CBR650R so far :(
Thank you.
I just ordered the OEM tall one and will compare soon.
I think the OEM tall one is more aggressive than other two as far as the look is concerned because of the convex area.
Which windscreen is taller or provide the better coverage for tuck in position?
I have the puig one installed, and I received the MRA one but it's not much taller than Puig. It's disappointing 😞
So, I'm hoping the OEM tall version is taller than the MRA one.
Has anyone tried both and know...
With the frame sliders alone, there's no damage other than scratches on the handlebar weights and the mirrors when dropping a bike at stop.
So, I didn't find the needs for additional sliders.
You can install it yourself if you can remove the fairing. It's a bolt on. No cutting is necessary...
I got the OEM C spanner for adjusting the preload from a friend, but I don't have the extension bar for the spanner, which is referenced in the service manual. Without it, I found there is not enough leverage to turn the preload adjustment clip.
So, I went the RevZilla. But, I did not find the...
