suggest using a commercially available liquid tire lube, amazing stuff, enables much less effort required. I've actually mounted certain tires by hand (yes, you read that correctly)
Google it.
been quite awhile......find myself doing some non-bike carbs.....Strombergs off a firetruck (yes you read that correctly)..... and a 1971 MG with SU carbset. Cheers!
going into my 6th season in '24.....original AGM battery, zero issues, starts, runs, accelerates perfectly. This Honda is a total winner, amazing lack of maintenance requirements with just 8900 miles (as I own 2 other street legal Ducati's)

I like the 3 color changes signaling degrading voltage drops. Or, for example....showing (highly unlikely) gradual lower output from the FH027 Shindengen regulator on the Honda. In the case of a broken wire connection....an immediate flashing red. In anything other than normal green.....HEAD...
WHY? Its visually minimal....all you see is a small LED (which displays certain colors based on charging system voltage) thus no need to "crunch numbers" while riding. Absolutely based on my personal preference.
Voltage Table
• Flashing Green Above - 15.2V
• Steady Green 12.9V - 15.1V

checking in after yet another long silence.....currently on a set of 900 Ducati / 38mm Mikuni's left with fuel for 13 years as reported by owner!
Note...the "In process" pics were taken prior to any tuning adjustments.
Anyways.....from this (before) to this (after)
near 2 years onward, now at 7600 miles.... I can report the same applies.....its impeccably reliable. I'm also amazed at the lack of maintenance required (beyond normal daily chain/tire pressure/oil check/change type stuff)
Kudos to Honda on designing/building an excellent machine, front to...
