Having a look at ads for Cb650f, cbr650f ,2014 to 2019 year
On some ads it is a 600 cc not a 650 cc on 2014 to 2019 year
So question is is the a CB or CBR 600cc or is this a misprint
It may be a stupid question but don’t what to got the incorrect bike

see you've responded to phil walsh offering. His looks nice!

The 600cc you refer to in the ads refer to the CBR600RR ....full on supersport. Typo's, misprints in the ads? ...who knows, but the 600RR supersport is in a different classification to the 650 series streetbikes.

I do hope you're actually going to GO to any dealer/seller to see the bike for yourself?!?! Because if you plan to buy a bike over the internet/telephone without ever physically looking at it, I would say that's a BAD idea!

I just violated that very wise advice and bought a bike in West Palm off the internet! So far, so good

Your money and your risk! If it works out then better for you. But if the seller doesn't sell you what you "thought" they advertised then you're going to be miserable and, should you want to return or get what you thought was advertised then prepare for a long bout of lawyers and stress and telephone arguments.

I buy things off of Amazon. I don't buy large $$$$ items off of the internet. But, that's just me. A vehicle...I have to see it, touch it, sit on it...and even then! I also think using the internet kind of takes away the "feel" for human interaction with a salesperson and store staff. I know my guys where I buy my motorcycle we talk, negotiate, and I can look them in the eye when they tell me what I get for my $$$.

No arguments from my end. I’ve sold 3 cars on EBay motors, including my GTO recently. No issues because I advertise them as they are and let the prospective buyer(s) know what they are getting. I’ve also seen a fair number of purchases made that were not “as advertised”. The bike I just bought was low mileage from a used dealer and that scenario gives you better odds of it not being a basket-case.

I was at a collision conference last week and a rep from State Farm was telling me his brother had a Yamaha R1 for sale and a young man with his wife/girlfriend came over to look at the bike. The man wanted to take it for a test ride, and asked if he could ride it around the block. The brother responded Yes, but the female & baby had to remain for collateral. After a few minutes, she pulled the scam the baby soiled its diaper and needed to go to the store to get some. She walked around the corner, disappeared and none of the above were ever seen again. The R1 was recovered 2 years later, including having been a frequent track day attendee.

My point: there are always dirt bags out there looking to take advantage. There are also a few decent people left that are honest.

If they're test riding any bike I sold they are going to leave me with their car/bike keys after I see it starts the car.

But as you stated, I'm not disagreeing that good deals can be made via buying/selling on the internet...but THE RISK is much greater than in person!

I recommend you ride both and see which one agrees with you more. Main difference is the riding position (CB is slightly more upright than the CBR).
