Hey there!

Seeing as I haven't seen anyone around here on the forums from Sweden yet, thought I might as well introduce myself now that I've been lurking for a few months. :shame:

I've had my 2017 CB650F since January and finally got my A license 3 days ago after having A2 (max. 35kW) for 3 yrs.. Can't wait to take the trip north and show my family! Coming from a single-cylinder BMW F650 which had some major reliability issues, I don't want to ever leave the smoothness of the inline 4.

Constantly worried about dropping it though, it does seem very vulnerable without any sliders. :nailbiting:

I love that colour scheme so understated and mean.
Right!? I don't see too much of them with this colour scheme here but I'm absolutely in love with it.
I should come to Sweden some day. It's on my bucket list!
You should! There are so many roads in southern Sweden aswell, take the trip through Denmark and I'm sure you'll find a lot of twisties there too :)

Great looking bike, M @mtDrews!

Is that a shot of some cone practice? Love it! (I'm a Motorcycle Safety Foundation instructor/"Ridercoach" here in the States)
Thanks, love your CBR too!

Yes, that's a shot of a training course with low speed balance circuits, higher speed dodge manouvers and some hard braking tests. To get the license here in Europe you need to complete those, it's a bit controversial because many people think they're too hard but I'm thankful for them, makes you get to know the bike much better!

How does it work in the states, are your courses part of the license? It'd be interesting to compare :D

"Bike bonding" is always a good thing.

In the states, the courses are optional. You can just take the skill test directly with the state.

Or

You can take the training course, which also includes a skill test. Passing the training course "waives" the licensing skill test.

You don't happen to live in Stockholm, do you? I saw a bike very similar to yours a few weeks ago.
