All 650's Engine light

Hi!

My 2016 Honda CB650f's engine light is flashing 2 times, then pause, then repeat. The blinks are short, 0.3 seconds. What should I do?

That code isn't listed in the service manual.

If you have warranty still, I recommend taking it back to Honda for diagnostics.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but isn't that the MAP sensor? Maybe a pinched hose?

Thank you for your answers. The problem is now solved (a loose vaccum hose)!

Hi guys.
I ran into the same problem. After doing spark plugs and air filter replacement, i started the bike up and this code was flashing. The bike runs however it is a little sluggish.
I removed the tank and air box again to check everything and the light still came on.
I was curious as to what hose became trapped ?

Likely the vacuum hose to the MAP sensor.

Check out page 4-37 of the service manual (available in the resources forum section).

There's a vaccum hose just under the black contact which was loose.

Lucas I just did my plugs and air filter on 2016 CBR 650F getting the same quick 2 blinks and a fuel odor ....what vacuum.hose did you have an issue with?

I found it it was a little baby hose that went to the map sensor how I forgot that I don't know

Lol she good now baby sounds right with those NGK plugs and HiFlo filter...M4 pipe screaming 😈 pow pow...but have to wait on new tank mounts as the idiot that had the bike before me did not use the correct.bolt sleeve and bushings...never noticed till apart...my babydoll was neglected now she not

Hi, not sure if I should start a new thread but similar problem. On refitting air box I got high revs and checked the vacuum hose which was fine and using my thumb over the hole I could feel it sucking. After fiddling with the map sensor the revs returned to normal and I thought it was fixed. But had an engine light so checked the code which is just one flash then another..1-1. cannot reset it. So guess the sensor is broken but I need to check the wiring. Question is can I get another sensor used from any CB/cbr650? And does any calibration need to be done fitting another sensor. Thanks.

Edit..jfi fitted another map sensor and everything is fine now
