CB650R CB650R with clip ons

Took absolutely forever to piece everything together, but I finally got my bike build completed for spring. Adding the clip ons was the biggest hurdle because the brake line, clutch line, and throttle cables were all too long and needed quite a bit of adjustment to make them work. That being said I think it turned out looking really nice and gives the bike a true cafe racer look. You’ll also notice I added some additional mods which include new grips, lever for both brake and clutch, tires (pirelli angel gt), pair valve delete w/ block off plates, and for what you can’t see I had an ECM reflash done as well. All in all you could say I’m quite excited for spring

Where did you get the flash at? How much improvement is it? Do you have the dyno table pic to share?

I got it flashed by X-plane R1 tuning in Illinois. I don’t have any dyno table pics but the bike feels phenomenal. Very responsive and feels better in the mid range. Hoping to maybe get my bike to his shop one day to get it on the dyno.

oh ok, so basically you delivered the ECU and they flashed it, right?

ok thanks, just checking bc one time I was in touch with someone on FB and he has the same bike, when he took it in, the specialist couldn't read the ECU bc the bin file was only for the ABS model.
Good to know that this guy can flash it.
